My Linn components as well as my now-sold PS audio NuWave DSD!

Rack is a pArticular Optimus which to be honest is not great at isolating the TT from footsteps in my apartment. Must tread carefully...!

Default Here is the latest iteration

I have been using Salamander for a few years now. It's probably the next (and hopefully last) item subject to an upgrade for a while.

My racks -- a good friend was the owner of a plastics manufacturing plant (made counters, displays, etc.) and using 4x8 sheets of 1 inch black acrylic & a CNC machine, he first made himself some shelving. He had a machinist friend mill the supports from billet aluminium and drill/thread each.

Stuff is damn tough -- I've stood on the 2d level during TV install. Pretty too but as Dan would point out a dust magnet (well maybe not a magnet -- I can't find a rag & don't prep for a room inspections).

I like it --. Unfortunately my friend got sick and sold his plastics factory. Fortunately, obtained a couple shelves for the dCS gear from a client of his. Have plenty of supports in various sizes to accommodate a rearrangement if needed.

Bob

Hi Dan,

You are correct! Right now the Gato Amp 150 is just a "decorative item" - I am debating whether to sell it, keep it in the audio room or take it to the office.

Salamander archetype, low priced and very adaptable for changes, as I already altered it 3 times to accommodate different equipment. While not necessarily a "high end" look, especially in black, I think it's a good option to use before you finalize your setup.

Stands changed a lot as far as contents...this pic is a year old. It is a J Pauls Design. He operates Formula One Audio out of Chicago region. I think he stopped making these. Also not in the photo--I have a Sound Anchors stand for my twin MC75 amps.
