I cannot find many posting on Devore O93. Is there any O93 user in this forum? Is O96 a true upgrade from O93 other than the sensitivity difference?

very few O/93 vs O/96 discussions or reviews. Interestingly there are some posts claiming that you need more power to drive the O/96, which would be surprising (to me - not an expert) given their higher sensitivity. Supposedly the drivers and several other components are somewhat lesser in the O/93 - even according to John Devore in his interview to hifi+.
If you do a search you will find some information on the topic.
As always it swill depend on your gear, room (O/93 is smaller/thinner and easier to fit in smaller rooms) etc. If you can listen o both with the same gear you have or plan to get. Close to $4000 new may not be worth getting the 93 but then used the difference gets smaller...
