You'll get no love from meWith the game and national championship well in hand, there was absolutely no need for them to score that last touchdown. They played an excellent game up to that point. Urban Meyer should be ashamed of himself for allowing that to happen. It was a purely unsportsmanship like and selfless act

There is nothing "unsportsmanlike" about continuing to play the game according to its rules. Nor is it "unsportsmanlike" to allow the kids to get a little redemption after being told unceasingly that they did not deserve to be there. There is no correct margin of victory - too much and you ran up the score, too little and you had an undeserved win. Besides, Oregon was hardly helpless. With their potential for rapid scoring when exactly is a game against them ever "well in hand?"

I have no issue with what Ohio did at the end of the game. Now if they had tried to score by passing in the last minute, that could be considered running up the score when the game was in hand. That would be another story.

Randy,

I'm guessing from Jim's location that he probably prefers this music.

Oh, Jim bleeds maize and blue for sure. That's OK. I route for every Big 10 team in bowl games (unless it's against OSU).

Well since there were no unbeaten teams at all this year.

Sorry Randy, but I stand by what I said. It was a demoralizing defeat for Oregon and I saw no need to demoralize them any further.

Was a great game period!

Ohio was in the zone, could of went the other way, but it just did not. That is called SPORTS!

Congrats to both teams and a special shout out the champs
