Two barn burners to start the day!! Both Ohio St. and IU need a clutch 3 at the end of the game to win. Mercy!

The first four days of the NCAA tournament with 48 games are probably my favorite sports days of the year. Sure there are a couple of individual days that are pretty good but nothing like this.

+1. As the tournament goes on and the favorites advance it loses the sparkle.

Only loses its sparkle if your bracket gets totally busted, even then still one of the best sporting events of the year. Who doesn't like a fairy tale team like Florida Gulf Coast.

The first 15 seed to get to the Sweet 16. Bravo.

Congrats to LaSalle and Florida Gulf Coast so far. But I have to go with my Kansas Jayhawks defeating Louisville in the finals.

Well it is almost time for the next four games to start. I don't think that after last weekend we should be surprised by any outcome. Of the 16 teems left, the only three that I don't think have any shot at winning are FGCU, Las Salle and Wichita State.

I started doing the bracket predictions in 1982, and got hooked. This yr is one of the few yrs since then that I haven't filled out a bracket. I probably would have picked Miami and Georgetown in one semi-final game (they were both impressive during the regular season), but they're both gone. Now I'm pulling for the 'little guys' (FGCU, Wichita St) to go far, although Wichita St is not really a little guy, and they are located in the heart of b-ball country.
