Here is an other link to those amps :
Stereopal.com visits Ken
Ken seems to like them.
I'm now blown by their magic and their sense of ease.
The decay of notes is purely sensationnal : I never heard that before.
These amps should be known more. At 15k US a pair, that makes a single Watt very expensive for a 2x 20 W amp.
But you have to listen to its beauty to understand that these watts DO MAKE MUSIC !
I'm really impressed. They make a revolution of my musical senses and references.

Not mean to be rude, but it seems to me you are wasting your time (and money) using your 845s with those pmcs...

I would try exploring non ordinary paths if you are looking for extraordinary results...
For a start , I would try arranging auditions for High Eff speakers: try a good horn system (not avantgarde,please....), a good open baffle, a good onken+compression driver system and say a pair of An-e spe He Sig and see what happens and what you feel more confortable with ....
(If you want a halfway transition,,, a pair of Obx-rw could also do it, though they tend to be a bit too boxy for my taste)

Believe me, you will be sending me christmas postcards once you open up ur mind and discover what its all about .... (We have all been there)

Hello,

Well, this was a long time ago !
Things have changed in the main system.
The PMCs have been replaced by Wilson WP8s and Shindo gear. And no I do not use a SET with them.
I'm not into horns for domestic hifi but I may hear some horns that I love. I will actually listen to Shindo speakers one day although those horns are not really huge.
Don't worry, your comments were not rude at all !

Hello,

I am not a Wilson fan but I feel curious about the Latours as well....
I might arrange a trip to audition them .
The An-E signatures can be a very good compromise in my experience between horn magic and domestically aceptable boxes.
For inmediacy and true pasión nothing beats my reconed lowther alnicos. I am very confident where I say nothing, but they also have their shortcomings....

Anyway, Im glad you are happy with your new speakers...
