My current favorite for spices is the Santa Cruz Chile and Spice Factory....it is in Southern AZ just north of the Nogales border crossing and if you are into spices this is the place for you.

It may be common but we love McCormick's Montreal Streak Seasoning. It actually does wonder for grilled chicken too.

+3 on the Penzeys, just love them!
Whether a pre-mix or individual components to do your own, the quality is top notch. I am so glad they have a retail store in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia.....

Bad Byron's Butt Rub

Excellent on lots of things but exceptional on "beer butt chicken"

Buddy.......This morning I skinned six chicken thighs and sprinkled Lemon Garli Garni on both sides, left them in a zip lock bag all day, then grilled them this evening. The lemon and garlic flavor marinated into the chicken, and it really came through on the grill. Delicious. No leftovers!

However, for my smoked meats I prefer just mixing raw ingredients.

I like finding recipes on the internet and experimenting with them.
