AA app question

Like most I’m sure I use the AA app on a few mobile devices. A minor issue overall but I’m always stuck with one or two notification indicators (little red DOT with number inside). I never goes away. At first I just assumed it was my older device, I-phone 4S, but few days ago I purchased a I-phone 8 and I-pad and the same happens with those devices as well. Anyone ever experienced something similar?

Go to settings in AA app (three dots upper right), select notifications, select the the check mark. That will mark all as read and should clear the notification on the app icon.

I’ve done/tried that more than once

The app is not up-to-date with the latest iOS software and depending on the device and it's load, there are different glitches. Some can be overcome by deleting the app and reloading it but something else pops up or it reoccurs later.

I deleted it awhile back once Ivan posted his developer is no longer involved in updating the app.

I did that several times; didn't help. I also had the problem Don mentioned - but, not anymore since the app has been deleted.

I don't need it when I'm away from the house -- like at Home Depot, out in the yard, driving, standing in line at the theatre, etc. Now, sitting in the screened in porch having a cocktail -- okay.

You can just turn off notifications for the app in the main iPhone settings. Got to Settings>Notifications>AudioAficionado and either turn off notifications altogether, or turn off the “Badge App Icon,” which is the little red dot on the app icon.

Tony -- for some of us with older iPhones and glitches in an obsolete non-updated app...............it doesn't work.

I’m pretty sure it should work with any iPhone or iPad. I’m talking about the phone settings, not the settings within the app. The phone always allows you to turn off notifications for any app.
