Not to mention all their friends and supports in the “cités” where they live. And you have the same guys in Belgium. Mollenbeek is a charming place to live isn’t it ?
TV and Radio News teams went to the area where this terrorist live to get informations about him. They have been received like aliens : they were attacked by numerous persons !
Anyway that is not the place to discuss this. I just want to tell you that if you believe that our civilizations are “equal” then you are actually ready to give up all the principles and the identity that built Europe and the Western world : could you please mention to me one single islamic country being a democracy ? And let alone democracy. Give me just one islamic country where human rights do exist ? What are you talking about precisely ?
Just remember the images in the islamic countries of all the people celebrating, dancing and singing in the streets after September 11. Read Michel Houellebecq’s novel : “ Soumission” ( Submission). It is all in there. He is just known as the best french writer of the last 40 years. Or you can still keep your head in the sand. It may be more comfortable indeed than facing the reality.

I read about this yesterday and was very impressed with this man's courage. There are few individuals who would make the sacrifice he did. Bravo and RIP.

Read about this in the local Sunday paper. He was a true hero of the highest order. Well trained with an impressive gendarmerie resume since graduating from the prestigious Saint-Cyr military school in 1999. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Condolences to his wife and parent(s) and express the same sympathies to those other 4 who lost their lives.

May he RIP.

Bob
