My wife and I saw him perform live at two occasions, both memorable concerts, but the Miners’ Hymns concert at the old Genk Coal Mine Site was truly otherwordly. It was like he was sculpting the ambient air with sound, creating fleeting ethereal constructs carried by the sound of the live brass band. A unique and talented composer who will be sorely missed.
