I sold the Peachtree Grand and purchased a Parasound A21 and Parasound P5, Wireworld Silver Eclipse 7 inter-connect cables and Silver Electra 7 power cords. I will have everything tomorrow. I'm curious to hear if and/or how significant the changes are?

Nice step up w/the Parasound combo. The P-5 gives you the ability for using dual subs.

Thanks, I'm really happy with the changes. In addition, I added the PS Audio Dectet Power Center. My next step will be Wireworld Silver Eclipse 7 or Shunyata Cobra speaker cable...I'm trying to receive feedback on the sonic characteristics of the Wireworld Silver Eclipse. I already had a home addition of the Shunyata Cobra.

These are really good speaker and deserved to be powered by a good amp.

And no one mention the ATI 6002 (4000$) amp.

I just changed from the Parasound A21 to a Jeff Rowland 525. The soundstage is slightly bigger, spacing better, but the best thing is the imaging is more three dimensional. In comparison, the A21 was relatively flat. I guess it's easy to blame or credit everything to the speakers, but it's truly a system that we're listening to.

I do use the smaller version (ATI 2002) to power the 6T's. Great amplifier, reliable, great specs, no frills.

But the MC152 beckons. I admit, I don't expect any sonic revelations, but the blue meters and overall allure are hard to pass up. All fun.

Interesting, the McIntosh MC452, 152 and ATI 6000 series share some common core technology - namely the thermal track transistors which enable real-time continuous bias optimization.

Hello everyone.....! Newbie here at AA (gonna figure out an Avatar and list my equip below soon as I can). Quick question - and I know the answer will be varied and no matter what my selection will be a winner. So here goes.....I have had a Class 5 Ch amp for a long time (CA-5200) its wonderful. I am interested in taking my 2-ch listening to the next level. So I am going to leave the Classe for the rears and center and add either 2- mono or 1-stereo amp. My equipment: Classe SSP-800, Ariel Acoustic 7t and center, JL Audio F113, Esoteric K-03, Modwright Oppo 105, Torus Power Conditioner and of course the CLasse Ca5200. My speaker cables are Straight Wire Crescendo 2, interconnects mixed between straight wire and audience. So what am I considering.....Pass LAbs X350.8, MC-452, and Used Classe CA-M600s Adivice???????
