I just had to come back and re-read these threads. I still have my 8B's with the crossover mod, bi-wired with Acoustic Zen Satori cables, and they are connected to the MC501 amps. I love 'em dearly but can't keep from wondering just what the 7T's would sound like connected to them.
Yamaki - the 7Ts already sound better in my new room than the B&Ws did. I can't wait for them to be broken in! More updates in a few weeks.

Thumbs up

Combining an Accuphase E-470 w/7T's a mighty sweet combo.

They sure are! The 7T is a perfect match for my Accuphase and the sonic characteristics of my new AV room. I was a bit concerned that the Transparent speaker cables would hinder the high end a tad but thus far, things are sounding very good!

John at AV Therapy just added Audience cables to his lineup. I just added a pair of interconnects to my phono and got excellent results. Might want to borrow a pair when his stock comes in.

I will. I tried the new speaker cable and it did not come close to the Transparent (but that was with my old speakers). It's worth a try!
