When I was a teenager I had a punk rock band. Besides the music, the energy, the creation and the unique feeling of being on stage I also loved building speakers and all sorts of things for the band. Our budget was really tight and most of the things where DIY. I also loved going into the hifi shops to listen and look at I would never afford. Later, in my early twenties there was a small store with a BIG Plinius power amplifier sitting in the window. It was a monster, something like the SA-103 or the SA-250, can't recall the model. But the image got stuck in my mind.
Some months ago (some 20 years later), after upgrading my speakers, my local dealer gave me a Plinius Hautonga to test for a few weeks, along with a Primare i35 prisma. Tested the Primare first and the Hautonga after. Just fell in love with it and suddenly all those emotional memories of me and my friends drooling at the Plinius Power amp when we were kids came to surface. Besides the big sound, you won't find a cooler remote! Last edited by andreantunes; 10-17-2020 at 01:06 PM. |

Hi, there is a very good Plinius dealer with a great technician here in Lisbon. Can be an option if you live in Spain. It’s called Delaudio. Good luck Andre
