With CD's, you at least have a physical back up. Hmmm.
Glenn.......I will continue to purchase CD's and SACD's. I will purchase the occasional high-res download providing it measures up. I like having physical media and I like spinning CD's in the transport. Now that the Aurender N10 is in the system and performing at such a high level my purchasing habits may slow down, but buying compact discs will continue for me.

Your experience is very useful and plenty of knowledge.
Really impressive !!!
Nacho.......Thank you. It may be awhile before an N100H shows up in the living room system. I destroyed my audio budget with the N10 purchase. I need to recover. .

Dan, thank you!!
Again a review that matches the ones in most stereo magazines, and betters a lot of others.

2 questions.

1)You know I'm a jazz and classical music lover.
Qobuz has the best catalogue for those styles.
Is the Aurender Qobuz-ready?

2)Is it future proof, I mean: will high-resolution streaming be possible with this great looking device?

Congrats Dan on your purchase and enjoy for many years to come!

Bart.......Thank you for your kind words.

Yes, The Aurender N10 is Qobuz ready. It supports that streaming service in countries where it is available.

As for being able to stream a high-resolution format if and when it becomes available, I don't have an answer for that. I suspect the N10 would only require a firmware update to make something like that happen. Since the Aurender N10 supports up to 24/192 flac from its hard drives, I don't know why it couldn't support 24/88.2 or 24/96 via a streaming service.

Bart, I do know the Aurender A10 (not N10) has the capability to accept MQA.

Thanks Dan!

Interesting device.
As you write, with an internal memory of 2x2 Tb, less clutter with NAS and cables.

Glenn, thank you.
I don't know the range so well... yet.
The A10 seems like a smaller device, is it newer maybe?
