Thanks Ivan. While I specifically wanted the full ASC room build out in terms of iso-walls and iso-ceiling knowing the rumble and deep bass of modern movies to keep the room from singing along, I also knew that should I change my mind and convert it to 2 channel or for it to be both, the ASC treatments would only help, not hurt anything. The hanging treatments are easy enough to install and remove if needed should I ever decide to really maximize the video aspect of the theater with a larger screen and/or built in speakers with a different flavor theme for the theater. Time will tell, I am new to this theater stuff.

Cheers,
Jerome, thanks. 120? If by some miracle I do make it that far out, I am sure none of this will be necessary. They will probably have hearing aids that stream music and movie soundtracks right to your ear without room interaction.

Hearing aids with blue tooth have been available for awhile. Now we have implantable hearing aids

Serge,

You have done a terrific job with the build out of your home theater. I enjoyed looking at the pictures.

Howard, I'll be sure to update as things progress. It will be fun to experience surround sound and see video quality of the studiotek 130 screen and JVC RS35 projector.

Serge..great project, great room, great execution. Very nicely done

Just curious if you took room measurements with the isowall treatments first and none of the ASC wall hanging room treatments and what humps/nodes you found present that you had to address and then another set of measurements after the wall treatments were hung. It would be interesting to see what the starting off point was and where you wound up after the treatments. Thx and looking forward to the completion of the project.
