Cloning MSXXX Drives
Did anyone actually do this successfully, by that I mean install the cloned drive in the MS and have it boot and access its files successfully? If so, could you please share cloning device and/or software used to do so? Have tried several methods and both drives are seen but the source drive (In this case a Maxtor 300) is only seen as target, not source which it needs to be. Target is Seagate same 300 gb size.

Yes I have cloned at least 10 drives. I buy used Escient machines. If the drives is alive I clone them and they work well. I use a simple machine StarTeck.com. It is a stand alone machine Just plug in source drive on one side and destination drive on the other side follow the prompts and wait. It takes depending on the size 1 hour to 3 hours

Many thanks, Fellas! Doc D. - What do you do with all the Escient machines, fix the power supplies, put in better fans running 100% of the time and re-sell them?
