Interesting. You're in MI so you would know! Where I grew up it was as this from Wikipedia. "Closed vehicles without a B-pillar are widely called hardtops and have been available in two or four-door body styles, in sedans, coupes and wagons. ... Thus a two-door hardtop or a three box designed coupé could have its rearmost pillar called the C-pillar even in the absence of a B-pillar." .

Yes, during that timeframe a hardtop had no B-Pillar and the sedans had a B-Pillar and "usually" framed windows. The sedan could be a 2 or 4 door car. |

I agree - B-pillar usually denoted sedan whether the car has four doors or two.
In mid '60s Cadillac offered hardtop and pillared versions of Sedan deVille, however the B- pillar on the latter was extremely slim and the door glass was not framed the same as on the hardtop version. I've heard this body style referred to as the "posted hardtop". |

I am with Jim, at first glance, I like it and need to see it in person. Promising.

New Panamera is much much nicer than the old one. I would gladly drive it vs s class or 7 series

Nice looking car the MB. The new Panamera is nice too (I never cared for the original Panamera).
The sloping roof reminds me of the A7. |
