Anyone have any experience with either the original Music Reference RM 200 or the current mk.II version? Michael Fremer gives both the original and the current update a very big thumbsup and John Atkinson says its measured performance is exemplary. For $4,200, it looks like quite good value

I just reread the review. Very nice amp indeed, I bet it sounds very good and seems to be very reliable.

Owned the rm 9 for a decade, the 200 mk2 for 3 yrs. they both ran very hot,much more than my cj pr 12 and do not soundstage nearly as well if that is important to you.
