I love so many things about this amp, but I've found it a bit hard to listen too on occasion and I find myself turning down the volume. Anybody else have this experience? Could this be remedied by anything like interconnects...?

You could buy the APC S15 or S20 to get you through the break in period and then experiment after that. |

Do you have your amp plugged in to a dedicated line? If not, you may be starving it for power, driving it into clipping well before rated power. That could be part of the problem.

I do now (and you're right....big difference), but during break in, the power conditioner helped ease the highs.

I did plug the amp into a power conditioner and it helped slightly. The break-in is driving me crazy though...it will sound like it's finally settling down and then back to aggressive and confusing. Today was definitely a move in the right direction, as it seemed to sound more natural...I could finally turn up the volume to the extreme without it driving me out of the room.
