Typo on my part. I was curious what you liked about it.

Other than the distributor's info, think it is an interesting design. Not being able to actually handle one in the near future, will have to wait for Dudley's review to post. The distributor states that it does an especially good job dampening mid & hi freq resonances. I like the 'looks' of the rectangular design. Just have to decide if I can live without a changeable headshell.

I did not see anything about adjusting SRA/VTA or azimuth. I was kinda curious/skeptical that instead of an offset headshell, it had cartridge mounting slots at an offset. I suppose if you can get the stylus to conform to the null point(s) that may not matter. It looks okay and is probably 'inexpensive' though there are quite a few proven arms from established manufacturers.

What 'table would it go on?

Enjoy your end result, the DP80 is a great foundation for a high end TT!
Nice. What are your plinth dimensions?

Having a plinth built for my Denon DP-80. See the pic in Legrace's post above.

I'm quite certain I'll pic a TA with changeable headsheii. Have too many cartridges to enjoy (and want more ).

17.2" x 21.7", plinth model is Denon DK110 that I found on a Japanese site. Solid wood constrained layer type design, very nice.

Armboard was previously drilled for a shorter arm. In order to re-purpose the armboard I first filled the hole with a wooden dowel piece and a bit of filler and sanded everything flush. I then glued a thin veneer over the surface, finishing things off with a couple coats of varnish. I also replaced the stock hold down screws with threaded rod topped off with brass finger nuts.

Here's a picture of the basic plinth, and a further pic helping put the relative size of this behemoth into perspective...

NP. Nice thing about doing your own build is you can incorporate the features that are important to you. Looking forward to seeing some cool pics down the road.

Hopefully, won't be too long (weeks rather than months).

Will be using an HRS 9.5" x 4.5" x 0.5" resonance plate as an armboard. Had been thinking of counter-sinking it, so was good to see that Denon had done the same.
