Default Noise reduction

I recently updated my wired network and extremely happy with the results.

Incoming Modem and Netgear router are now powered with a Keces P8 12V Linear power supply. A Belden cable spanning 30’ runs to the music room and feeds my AQVOX SE audio switch.

Note: AQVox recommends using the included power supply over upgrades, even their own upgrades.

Nordost Heimdell RJ45 cabling out of the AQVox SE feeds a Gigafoil V4 optical filter, powered by a Keces P3 linear power supply, then Nordost Heimdell RJ45 feeds the Aurender N10.

Each power supply is fitted with Nordost Red Dawn power cables and Ghent Audio just built the DC cords with 20 AWG OFC cable with gold tipped connectors, and expecting those next week.

All improvements were cumulative removing noise and enhancing the timbre and dynamics of sound complimenting all other aspects of what I put together for a system.

I started first with the AQVox, then grounded it with Nordost QKore - great results

Then added the DJM Gigafoil V4 powered by the Keces P3. The Gigafoil settled after placement tests between the Aurender and the AQVox switch - further greatness

Phased in the Keces P8 for the separate Modem and Router upon execution - even further greatness, and if results improve with break in, then I’m going to need oxygen!

Side benefit from changing the power supplies on the modem and router is better clarity and crispness on my already good, but older Pioneer Plasma Elites and Apple TV

DC cables just arrived today handmade from Ghent Audio using 20 AWG OFC cable and gold tip connectors - their appearance are impressive, and from build quality alone worth the price of admission at $45.00 each!

I am not expecting much on what the cables will contribute in overall sound and picture quality, but let's see...
