Let me hope I can have the same sonic benefits over Ref 2 SE. I will inform the forum after I get my Ref ph 10 delivered. Since I still keep Ref 2 SE, that will enable me to make direct comparison.

That is awesome. I hope you can clearly hear positive improvement.

I start to like the touch screen operation. It was a bit awkward in the beginning but you quickly get use to it.

I own the ref 10 pre and am trying to decide between the ref 10 phono and ref 2 se. I look forward to more input on this thread.

Thanks,

While the Ref 10 Phono should be much, much better than the Ref 2 SE, I would never even tell someone who had just won Powerball to purchase either before auditioning them, and you should do the same.

Of course. Auditioning Ref 2 is easy; auditioning Ref 10 is hard. Simply collecting data points on the ROI of time spent. I consider this one of the benefits of forums when time matters.

This is true; auditioning is the most difficult part of any high-end purchase these days.

For example, I never would have been able to demo the Ref 2 SE had my dealer not unexpectedly received a demo unit from ARC for an upcoming event, and I didn't purchase Wilson Alexias because I had no way to demo them in my home as my dealer didn't have a pair.

Ref10 phono finally arrived. First two hours of listening, compared to an almost burned in Ref2 SE... authority, easiness, dynamic ability beyond....resolution of complex musical passages simply no match...now the unit is burning in via reverse riaa phono stage burn in device...more to come...

Congrats !

Funny world where new units to burn in replace "almost burned in" others.....
