Kal..... Yes, the promise has been made. Luckily, we found a mint condition example for short money. The decision about pre-pros was driving me insane, quite frankly.

Bill,

The MX151 will sound better than the MX121 but the original retail was way more than the MX121 original retail.

??? I do not follow McIntosh AVPs closely and looked up the MX121 only in response to your post. I saw that it came out in 2012, so I looked at the manual.

Bill, fortunately, you will be able to sell it again without losing much money if you want a more up to date processor later on.
