Unfortunately I have had the same problem. Have to redo configuration every time after power disconnected. It has the latest firmware.

No. I haven't the energy to deal with it again after the troubles with the loud thump on start up.I guess I will call them. It is connected to home theater set up via passthru.

This would be great, the more we will be to raise this issue, the more chance we have to get it solved.
It worked before with the loud popping noise, why not again

I feel for you. I have same set up and have had same problem about a year ago. McIntosh resolved by sending replacement unit.

esweter and Jumper i am the FW engineer at McIntosh. I am working on fixing this issue, but the problem is i have not been able to duplicate it. I understand that you are both using PassThru to power the unit. Can you possibly provide me with how you configure the C1100? are you turning certain inputs off? etc...
