I hate to say it because your room is incredible and I mean truly incredible………. but dual subs do equalize the room better. Not everyone agrees but I went from a G1 on one side of the room to two JL Audio 13.5” in wall subs and the dual subs do balance my room better. I have a small room but it sounds much much better now with the two subs. It’s overkill but the low end sound stage is back.

Josh is 100% correct, even with Gotham’s. Many years ago, I thought one Gotham in my Home Theater would be more than enough. Now both my Theaters have dual Gothams (rear) and dual F113’s (front).

Utopia!

I have no doubt about that.
I think you can gain at least two factors.
1- Get the bass more evenly distributed in the room and.
2- Get more and better big unrestrained bass.

One question? Is it not harder to get the timing right, and the phase and other factors concerning optimication with the front stereo speakers?

It is super easy to integrate two Gotham’s. Make each a “Master” one for the left channel, the other for the right.

Then you can really “Rock the Casbah”

It’s fairly easy and in my system I use the MEN220 to integrate the JL’s with the Futuras for a seamless frequency response. I had help but I bet you can do it with amazing results
