Dan, I've been busy moving - down to one home now and hoping that I'll have more time to enjoy my music. I just read your excellent review, and completely agree with your conclusion that the benefits from using Stillpoints are cumulative.
This was my experience as well; the more system components I isolated, the better everything sounded. I couldn't stop until I had treated my whole system because the benefits were so significant, I didn't WANT to stop.
Yes, it is a significant investment, but they are easily worth the cost of a major component upgrade, because they brought that much improvement to my system's sound. Congratulations! Ted.

Ted.......I am pleased to hear you share my conclusions on the Stillpoints. It is remarkable that each time I added another set of Stillpoints under another component I experienced incremental improvements that elevated what I had previously gained. I could clearly hear the sonic improvements with each set added. Stillpoints are definitely worth the investment.

I am a skeptic on most everything, but I was amazed at the impact isolation makes in a system! I have an even more skeptical friend very new to highish end audio who was shocked at the impact as I moved them from under my DAC. Isolation rocks! I have yet to use Stillpoints though. Maybe a call to our resident dealer is in order soon?

Mike.......I checked out the Grand Prix Apex isolation feet on their website. Interesting looking devices. I think you might be doing yourself a favor by checking out the Stillpoints. Perhaps begin with some Ultra Mini's under the integrated amp and the DAC in place of the Apex ones. That will likely spark your desire to place Ultra SS under the Rockport Atria speakers.

Kyle.......Thanks for pointing that out. This isn't the first time one on my reviews has been quoted on manufacture websites or reprinted in online or print publications. It is always enjoyable to see my reviews reaching a wider audience. It is good for Audio Aficionado as well.
