I use the Grado 15 foot extension cable. I've had it for several years with no problems at all. I love it! I think it retails for around $40. A real bargain.

$40 sounds much better than mortgaging a house for the Wireworld Nano Platinum in 15 feet!

Drew, from Moon Audio once told me not to make the total length of my cables greater than 20 feet otherwise some audible loss may occur. He told me that he tested different lengths and that was his conclusion. I have several different extension cables, 2 are balanced and 2 are single ended. My extension cables are about 10 feet long and all my aftermarket headphone cables are 6 feet long. I have extension cables by Kimber, 2 by Double Helix, and Wireworld. I had the 15 foot Grado and I gave it away to my friend last year.

I recently bought some LCD3s to pair with my Grado GS1000. Each phones have their strengths and weaknesses. I am pleased with both pair.

Congrats, it's good to have a few pairs around for different listening flavors and genres of music as well as amplification that they tend to like.

I love the choice of a PrimaLuna Dialogue HP integrated amp for the headphone amp. I looked all over for an integrated that could do both speakers and headphones equally excellent, and have been thrilled with this amp.

This with the Sennheiser HD800S headphones is a terrific combination. I may have to try the ZMF Auteur Blackwood's.

Great choice with the PrimaLuna HP! It excels at both duties for me. The ZMF Auteur is tonally balanced somewhere between the Sennheiser HD600 and 800s but extremely engaging and musical without being overly lush. I hardly listen to any of my other headphones anymore other than taking the Audeze LCD-3 out of the storage case for an occasional listen.
