Are they going the way of the serial port on a PC? I'm not being sarcastic, I really want to know.

On Aurender forum section with the N10 the preferred connection seems to be digital SPDIF.

You have this with a transport and dac. Mct500 + D1100 for example.

What’s the deal with the “all new dac” chip? They probably use the same es9018 and es9016 on these, nothing Mcintosh never used before. They did the same on D1100. They said all new dac chip. It turned out a single es9018 in it.
