Nordost cables are worth the hype. Haven't tried their power cords/conditioners, but the ICs and SCs are as good as they get.

I have not tried the Wire World silver cables but would not be surprised if they have a similar signature (being silver) as Nordost. If your equipment tends to be on the bright or analytical side these cables might not be the best match. However with the right stuff they are fantastic.

Lightbulb Nordost on Board

I have added Nordost to my line list; I have had quite a few requests for them.

They are great cables - for me Odin is still the cable to beat in the Aida's and the TheSonusFaber using tube amplfiiers. I am also curious to listen to the new Valhalla 2 - but was disappointed with the price increase over the old Valhalla.

But I was once told that the pearl of the brand is the Tyr2, being astonishing value for money!

I wanna try Valhalla 2 to use between Arc Ref75 and Magico.

Any idea any tonal different between each different length?
2 meters is long enough, 3 meters more comfortable to use.
Also any idea between dual run of TYR 2 vs single Vh2+vh2 jumpers
Into biwire Magico?
Toga.

I was told at a Nordost presentation by Lars that ideally cables should be at less 2m long - it is the preferred minimum length for fully exploiting their sonic characteristics. However this session was long before the series 2 - perhaps it will be different with current cables. The preferred lengths for Valhalla 2 are different from those of the old Valhalla.

PS - I also want to try Valhalla 2 as soon as possible!

I've got Tyr series 1 throughout (XLR interconnects, speaker cable) and I am a fan. I haven't done a whole lot of testing with other cables though, and I'd love to do a comparison of Nordost and Shunyata one day. I'm pretty certain I will be picking up a Triton some day anyway, and it makes me wonder if I should go with a Shunyata loom, mix and match with Nordost, or keep everything but the Triton as Nordost. Does anyone have experience with both brands?
