Siltech electronics and speakers are very rare and exceedingly expensive.

the construction material are 1A, making the product very promising, but the price is way outta my ball park. But then again you could say that i'm the one that's out of their ballpark.

I was just browsing the older posts and came across this older one. I realized I posted in it but never voted. Since Siltech has been on my mind lately I'm curious Ivan if you had a chance to demo some of their products like the Classic Anniversary and Royal Signature? If so what were your impressions? Since you never picked up the line was that personal preference or was there simply not enough interest here on the forums?

Of course, I've demoed some other great cables, some of which have passive electronic intervention. I'm working on getting more Siltech into the loom.

I have also demoed the reasonably priced Siltech Classic Anniversary 550i & 770i XLR interconnects. The performance of these cables exceeded my expectations. The dimension of these cables are truly amazing especially when used to couple pre & power amps. In my case this was McIntosh C1000T & MC2031s.

To date, without a doubt, these have been the best sounding cables in my system. So much so, that I am on a mission to take it up a notch & invest in Siltech Royal Signature interconnects on the 2ch side with the Furutech Carbon/Rhodium flux plug upgrade.

Yes, Siltech offer a choice of termination for some of their models too.

You rarely see Siltech on the 2nd hand market. Why, because they are keepers for life.

I'm a huge Siltech fan.
Wow, you have Ruby Mountain II PC's, very nice. I was listening to my dealer's system a couple weeks ago which is using 770L's and they are very nice cables indeed. I would love to see and better yet hear some of the Royal Signature stuff. I don't see much Siltech in people's systems here or on other forums. The Siltech website absolutely sucks for info on their cables, just curious how large is the Ruby Mountain II power cords, gauge wise approximately and do you know if there is a size difference between it and say the Ruby Hill II and Ruby Double crown or even the SPX-800?

Thanks,

Rod

Rod... Not enough interest in Siltech; I'm sure the price point has much to do with that.

That makes sense, even the Classic Anniversary are way more than most people would ever pay for cables. Thanks Ivan.
