Shanahan's Steakhouse/Seafood and Del Friscos are both highly recommended & nearby. Shanahan's has a modern atmosphere whereas Del Friscos is more old style -- stone and classic mahogany throughout & has a cigar bar.

Open Table for Shanahans won't accept on-line reservations for a dinner table with more than 8 folks. Del Friscos has a on-line reservation and can make reservations for more than 10.

May make one at Del Friscos or Friday night for 15 people and can always call 'em that day and adjust for less.

Or better yet -- Saturday night since Cohibaman is only attending Saturday.

Sound good???

Best Sirs,

Bob

Man, I'd love to make dinner with you guys, unfortunately my flight out of Denver on Saturday is at 5:30pm and I already have plans with family on Friday night.

I have every intention of going but may have a schedule conflict putting me in Ireland at a fish farm - I won't know until September 20. If so, my vote is Del Friscos - would love to put faces to all these names and prove to my wife these are not countless women affairs I am claimed to be having at all hours of the night, plus the cash I am spending on all of you that seems to be missing [emoji85]

Too bad but that's how schedules work.

Been working in the yard all day and thought about dinner -- I still believe dinner Saturday at del Friscos would be best -- after RMAF closes for the day at 6PM. Go back to the room(s), rest and relax and shower & then make dinner at 7:00PM. Casual of course (no suits/tuxes).

Any suggestions otherwise? Thinking of getting a table for 12 -- (probably have to pay a premium for table w/seating over 6 or 8)

I think I'm out of line here -- not the original OP -- so bowing out -- wherever anyone wants to meet & greet on Friday and dinner on either Fri/Sat -- post here - I'll be there.

My apologies to the original OP -- 2fastdriving.

Just my military background -- mission focused -- move or get the hell out of the way.

Best Sirs,

Bob

Was OP already organizing something? If not, keep it up.

Hey Bob, I'm in for dinner either night, Del Friscos is great....heard great things about Shanahan's as well. Does your last post mean you're not organizing the reservations? I'll do it if you want, I don't mind calling. Maybe what we or I can do is send PMs to the known attendees and get a list based on the responses, then I can call and make reservations for a few extra just in case?

- Buck

I've been advised to proceed -- so, del Friscos Saturday at 7PM. Reservations made for 10. Shanahan's IMO doesn't have the atmosphere but it does have outdoor seating -- but if it's windy, that's a no go as there is no cover/protection. Been there -- done that.

Best Sirs,

Bob

I really really appreciate Bob taking the lead on getting reservations and setting up a dinner. If you are going to the show and want to hang out, please let Bob know immediately. Saturday sounds best because we can discuss what we've seen and heard. Looking forward to seeing you there!

I will be attending but don't know when. I have a 3 day pass but my weekend is very full. Won't be available for dinner. My name tag will be clear.

Great! Hope to meet you, Richard. Way to go, becoming an AA aficionado right out of the gate, too.
