Howard.......Perfect 1K post.

I must tell you, though, she was facing you but glanced my way, hence the elevated level of awareness you are witnessing.

Back to High End AUDIO Racks. . . . .

I have been using ARCICI SUSPENSE RACKS in my two systems for about 10 years and have never found any reason to change.

The racks employ three inflatable pneumatic tubes (inner tubes) under the top shelf that suspend all of the components on a layer of "air" using 4 rods, one at each corner.

The shelves are infinitely adjustable, are made of very heavy clear acrylic, and the racks isolate the components from almost any kind of external shock - air bound or floor shock.

I have been perfectly happy with the racks and fully intend to use them "forever".

I was surprised this morning, while looking through the latest issue of The Absolute Sound to find that Harry Pearson, who first introduced me to the racks, is still using the Arcici Suspense Racks in his systems, and recommends them in his "HP's 2011 Editor's Choice Awards" (TAS Issue 211, March 2011, page 132).

Lots of high end racks come and go - and The Arcici Suspense Racks must be one of the good ones.

Welcome to Billy Bags!
What are the dimensions of this rack? I didn't see them on the site.

Default Arcici Suspense Rack

Not a very good picture of the rack itself, (Please see my original post regarding the Arcici Rack, two above this one) but you can better see the size and shape perspective of the Arcici Suspense Rack in this picture of my "pool house" system. The Suspense rack appears at the right of the picture

FWIW, I had the Grand Prix Audio stand which was pretty good, but a Mapleshade Samson stand was so much better with my then Mc rig (MCD205, C42 and MC252. At about 1/3 the cost of the GPA stand, it was a no brainer.

Try Lovan racks. They are available in various heights and colors and are very strong.
