Do you guys know if I can order a custom color for the cabinets of the 800/802 Diamonds?

I brought this up with my dealer and he mentioned that you could order similar colors to a ferrari?

For an up charge of course.

I was thinking Monte Carlo Blue type color... would be awesome.

Not that I'm aware of. Sounds more like something offered by Focal's Utopia line and Wilson speakers.

Glossy black for me.

What is your room like though and do you feel any different coulour would make a significant impact on your place's eaesthetics compared to current set?

Have the 803D in cherry and after several years the patina is really beautiful. The Black Gloss finish is very well done, though. And Black Gloss is easier to add new speakers in a later stage. Since with the real wood veneer the patina will always differ.

I just thought that if I had the only pair of special custom color 800 Diamonds, it would just be that extra oomph in the room. I really want a nice blue speaker. Something that reminds me of an aston martin.

I have rosenut and I love it. If I had to do it again - I would get the gloss black. On the flip side, I am sure that if I had gloss black now I would say if I had to do it again I would do rosenut. I love both finishes a lot...

I've had the 803d, 800d and HTM2d in Rosenut; definitely not my first choice, but it was at a good price. Now 802 Diamonds in Gloss Black.
