To my ears Shindo is very musical, very organic and easy to listen to and digest the music. It may not come across as the most resolving, hyper focused and hyper detailed, "I can hear a gnat fart on the windowsill of the recording room" type of gear but the way it makes the listener relax and enjoy the music is tough to beat IMHO. Matched with appropriate speakers it still is dynamic enough to keep up with very capable solid state or high powered tube amps.

In my own system with the 96dB efficient speakers and 10w of Shindo SET, there is really not that much more my 250w ARC REF250 can offer! That in itself is pretty incredible.
