Futuras are way beyond my highest expectations. So real that it is almost unreal. I have just over 50 hours on them now and they keep surprising me with their improvements. I am listening to a detail in the base that is so distinct, the music takes on an additional dimension. What I am loving best about them is how impressive they are at very low volumes. I could do an entire demo at 12 watts and most people would leave, at the end of the session, quite amazed at the musical beauty.
Sorry about the "babble" but my fingers feel compelled to type my excitement.

Really good to read about how much you are enjoying your new speakers, HK! Jenny and I will definitely want an audition the next time we are in SW Florida!

Nice new Miss Muffy avatar, too!

Howard.......It is beginning to look like the Amati Futura's have found a new home. They have obviously endeared themselves to your auditory senses. Hopefully you and Val have conceived a way to integrate them successfully into your lovely environment.

Dan:We are making progress and should know if it all works when FedEx delivers on Thursday.

John: You and Jenny need a little Naples sunshine. We really look forward to a return visit. Muffy is sharpening her purrbox.

Randy,Chessman,Jeff and all you guys: Thanks for the nice thoughts. This adventure is really a "Biggie" for us.

Howard...congrats again, I can feel your excitement. One of my first thoughts, when you announced the news of the inbound Futuras, was how would you deal with the big difference in the physical configuration of the Futura vs. the XRT 1K's...especially with respect to the alcoves that your speakers reside in. I hope this aspect works out for you and look forward to your further comments...and pictures!

Pete
