He was a legend. Interesting that he passed away Jan 24 and we're only finding out now, over two weeks later.

Here's wishing your family our deepest condolences, and it's nice to know that through your son your legacy carries on, as it has been to my ears/senses the most emotionally balanced tube bases gear I've encountered to date - shall I say, it has a more human feel to the manner in which it reproduces music as if a living/breathing human being was in the room with me, more so then anything else I've heard in my lifetime.

You shall be missed.

Tragic loss of a supreme artist. His son and wife will carry on the namesake brand honorably, and with great skill.

A numbed hollowness has entered my body. This is obviously sad news for us all here. I'm sure Mr. Shindo would want this to be more a celebration of who he was, and what his extreme talents have left with us. He was truly a master.
