My Mr T is dead silent into the wall, but had quite a mechanical hum when initially plugged into my PurePower 1050. The PP has a little adjustment pot for transformer hum that, when turned about a quarter turn, completely silenced the Mr T.

I went back to the wall for the Mr T and the rest of the Shindo equipment based on Matt's advice... And the fact it was silent.

Find out what the Purepower adjustment pot does, and you might find a cure!
