Everyone that sees the green carpeting in my great room comments on it (almost never favorably). It was there when I bought the house, and the stuff wears like it was made out of steel. The other carpet in my house is starting to show its age, but that green stuff looks like the day I moved in. I actually don't mind the color, though I wouldn't have picked it myself. I do like how the Birdseye Maple looks sitting on it though!

One could get the above or for about the same price get offerings from PSB, Paradigm, and Legacy Audio.

Where this seems out of balance, a 40lbs speaker vs 100+lbs speaker, might balance out due to physical appearance, physical presence, and the ability to move them!

What I'm saying is, the Dynaudio C1 is a very specific application speaker. I.e. small room, WAF, and easy to move.

Still, there is no replacement for displacement and the floor standing PSB Synchrony One, Paradigm Signature S8, and the Legacy Audio Focus SE are King.
