Mikey especially appreciated the experience. (In our car club circles, his nickname is "Superman" owing to his extraordinary electro-mechanical talents. If it has tires or runs off electricity, there is nothing he cannot fix.)

Also, thanks to Jim (Jameslrock) for the McIntosh glasses he gave out to each of us. It was a very thoughtful and kind gesture. Thank you again Jim!

Very nice picture of a great group of people. I wish I could have joined it. I did spy on you all via the Audio Classics webcam...

Joe sent me a picture of his glass....I'm envious!

It was a pleasant surprise to get a McIntosh glass from Jameslrock. I will have to display it on the shelf. Since I am a fan of MC601s and they were doing a production run of them, attached are some more pictures.

+1 to the Glass. Jim is married to an angel who has the equipment to cut out the letters from a sticky material. She is also patient and kind enough to make them for a bunch of strangers!

I, for one, have already had a beer out of it - and hand washed it!

Thanks to Carmen and Jim!!!

Default My '62 just got a little more famous.

Not to step on Craig's toes but I thought I'd mention the '62 CdV was the subject of an article the most recent issue of Old Cars Weekly magazine (6-16-16).

The story and photos were taken at a local car show 4 years ago - a long time in the pipeline. I only found out it was finally published due to a friend in the Cadillac LaSalle Club bringing it to my attention and kindly mailing me his copy.

I am humbled and honored to have my car featured in a national publication.

*The black '59 Cadillac CdV that I had owned is visible in the background in the picture on the left page. Mostly only the windshield is visible.

What a great trip. I left Greensboro NC Tuesday for a day of travel and night on the road. I then met Craig for lunch in Fogelsville PA and golf in the afternoon on Wednesday. After golf we had dinner and then I was introduced to Craig's killer system with the MC2301's and the SF Stradivarius speakers. I thought I had a nice system but his is very SPECIAL. And we had great bouborn, or two, or three, or.... until 1:30 am. It was an amazing time with one of the best guys I have known. The next morning we drove to the Traditions at the Glen in Johnson City NY and played golf again with Craig's cousin. The wind was howling but the scores held pretty well. That evening we met up with the AA group at the Relief Pitcher bar for dinner and drinks. It was great fun meeting the other AA'rs. What a great bunch of guys for dinner, Paul, Joe, Tom, his son Patrick, Dean and Craig. On Friday we did the AC and McIntosh tours which have been posted already. We had a fantastic time including Eric, Mikey and others. AC is an awesome store with a very comfortable vibe. Chuck Hinton at McIntosh gave the grand tour. Friday night Craig had dinner with family and I stayed at the hotel bar but was pleased when he showed up later at the Traditions bar for a night cap (more bourbon - do we have a theme here? ) On Saturday I drove 9 1/2 hour back to Greensboro with plenty of prayers for safety. The hug from Carmen when I arrived home after a tiring long day of travel was the best. It is great to be home but I enjoyed the experience. Thank you guys for being so great to get to know and especially to Craig for being such a great host and friend. AA is the BEST.
