Fact is that this finish gives a different effect to the speakers and "changes" their shape in people's perception: Dic has repeatedly been asked whether the design has been changed. (facelift?)

Overall conclusion

A very nice show with no weak links.
Paired to T+ A HV-series: grand!
Paired to Burmester: powerful and accurate.
Paired to Accuphase: terrific match. Very musical.
Paired to T+A R-series: surprisingly good.

Sammy did it again.
One of his best shows ever.
