John,
Interesting layout diagram you posted. Thanks for sharing it. I agree with you about room tuning being a huge step up though i have not the luxury of a dedicated listening room to do this properly, (yet).
I hear Rives is closing up. Hopefully, another equally substantive company will be able to continue in their place.
Chris

Thanks for sharing your system and room. Very very nice, congratulations!

I was guessing it must be Rives' design from the first look at the picture. : )

Did your get your room measured by the dealer?

Thank you ! Appreciate those comments. I've made a few changes since those pics were posted.

#1 Tonearm now Spiral Groove Centroid with Transparent Magnum Opus cabling
#2 Ayre MXR's now a Nagra Classic Stereo amp
#3 Shunyata upgraded to Triton v2, DPC6 v2, and a few Sigma cords
#4 dCS Scarlatti swapped for dCS Vivaldi

I'm now listening to digital about 70% and Vinyl 30%. Which is a HUGE flip for me. Part of this is software driven...most of why I'm buying today is DSD downloads or hi rez of some sort...

Speakers: Rockport Altair 2
Preamp: Robert Koda K10
Amp: Nagra Classic Amp w/ Transparent Opus Power Cord
Cables: Transparent Opus Gen 5 & Magnum Opus phono
Power Shunyata Triton v2/Typhon/DPC-6 v2, Anaconda Zitron cords (x4), Sigma HC & Analog (x4)
Digital dCS Vivaldi full stack w/ Transparent Reference XL Digital cables
Phono: Grand Prix Monaco TT, Spiral Groove Centroid, Jan Allaerts MC2 Finish, Nagra VPS/VFS/MPS
Racks: Grand Prix Audio Silverstone F1 (x3)

I would love that. I have a pretty respectable system of my own, but one of the joys of AA is the ability to share with others. I would be honored to meet you and listen to your lovely system and have you visit my home and listen to my humble set up. Music is such joy, and over the years, I have made so many friends from this hobby.

That you do. I've always loved Maggies I haven't heard them with state of the art sources like you have. I bet it's killer.

Well, to quote Dudley Moore from the movie "Arthur" "It doesn't suck!" I look forward to meeting you someday. I am overseas most of the time, but I do have business that will bring me to Texas (Weatherford) during my next trip, so maybe we can make it happen.
