They make the switch in Europe two weeks later; causes confusion at times with my colleagues, trying to remember the continent is only five hours away instead of six.

I've read that after 50 years of research, the conclusion is that energy savings, the reason for DST in the first place, are virtually non-existent. Plus the occasional reports of increases in fatigue and people's circadian rhythms being upset. Already struggling with fatigue/poor sleep issues, it can take me several days to adjust to the change.

As for the extra daylight, I'll be heading to work in the dark now until we get a bit later into the spring.

I am sure in the minority on this, since I prefer standard time.
A piece of my childhood was coming from a farm enviornment, that may be it.
