Default Daylight Savings Time - Set Clock Ahead Tonight
Don't forget to set your clocks forward one hour tonight. Daylight Savings Time begins at 2:00 AM tonight.

I wish they would just leave it on Standard time. There is only so much daylight time in a day, and so much nighttime in a day period. The hands on the clock have nothing to do with this. Just adjust starting and ending times for functions and leave the clocks alone.

Glen.......You could move to Hawaii or Arizona. Those two states do not use the Daylight Savings Plan.

Michael.......The federal government now has Daylight Savings Time across eight months each year and only four months of Standard time. That's why it seems like it came up fast, because it was only 120 days ago we set our clocks back. We now have from tomorrow until Sunday November 5, 2017 before we have to endure this stupid ritual all over again.

Dan...I knew they had lengthened it from it's traditional period.

Given the history and rationale for DST, I think we could probably do without it at this point.

I disagree. I don't need the sun coming at 5am in the summer. I like it better when it stays light until close to 10 in mid-summer.
