The refinement in the crossover has added more presence in the midrange, more texture, more realism.

OB1i signature will likely come in about 3-4 years if at all. We've got sooo many on the horizon, bigger, better things.
Ian...Thanks for the prices!.

Tube stand is shown with the TB2i Signatures. Are they making it available again in the 24" height...?

Any scoop on future models...?

PMC’s global audio legends get the signature

Limited edition celebration TB2i and FB1i Signature versions are launched

Limited edition celebration TB2i and FB1i Signature versions are launched in celebration of ten years of production of these audio legends, with new tuned crossover networks providing improved sonic performance in the mid/vocal range, extended 10 year warranty and finished in an exclusive Palissandre Rose veneer. Simply put the best FB’s and TB’s made to date. The FB and TB have received accolades from all corners of the world and are viewed as the benchmark in the realm of the audiophile. In celebration of ten years production of these ‘audio classics’ two limited edition signature models have been conceived.
Dubbed the Signature models, they display all the ultra high definition and finesse of the current i series designs with added refinement and transparency in the mid, vocal range. The key to this enhancement is the fine tuning to the crossover networks which has been carried out Peter Thomas himself - designer and founder of PMC.
Such is the confidence in build quality and engineering excellence the warranty period has been doubled to match the ten phenomenally successful years since their launch.
The beautifully handcrafted British cabinets are finished in the distinct and rare Rose Palissandre veneer. A chic enhancement for any modern or traditional interior.
Both FB and TB share the same professionally proven six and half inch bass unit and the precision built SOLONEX™ domed tweeter which results is a vast, vivid audio picture and deep rich bass which can be experienced throughout the room. The FB1i Signature’s longer ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line) it provides even greater bass extension and therefore has the ability to fill a larger listening room with aplomb.
The exclusive, limited edition models include:

• PMC ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line)
• PMC/SEAS®, 27mm SOLONEX™ soft dome tweeter, ferro fluid cooled
• PMC designed 170mm Doped LF driver with cast magnesium chassis
• Improved vocal transparency over standard iseries
• 10 year extended warranty
• Luxury Rose Palissandre finish

• Hand signed certificate from Peter Thomas, designer & founder
• Brush aluminum serial number plate & nickel fixings

I appologize, but the crossovers themselves were also limited production as well.

Thanks for answering my question. However, if the crossover improved the performance of the speaker, why not use it in the regular production model as well.

Thanks for the info Ian. Maybe you can pass this along to U.K....

Hopefully, PMC would start to offer future upgrades to their older speaker line. At the same capacity as the previous + versions. I am sure everyone here would agree.

Cheers!

How about a DB1i Signature? I would think that would be a VERY hot item as that speaker has received lots of great reviews and people always like an LS3/5a sized box.

No comments from PMC on the possibility of a Signature DB1i? As you can tell from my login-name I'd be very interested in a pair!
