Two things, Dan:

1. What is that platform sandwiched between the Esoteric and the Aurender?

2. Have you ordered the SilenZio, yet? Dying to read your comparo test and report

Happy Listening

Hi Dan,

It looks awesome and looks like a perfect match with the Esoteric. May you have many many hours of listening pleasure.

Hector.......I purchased a white poly cutting board to use between the two components and placed 1-1/2" felt circles on the bottom to keep the poly board from scratching the Esoteric's top cover.

No SilenZio ordered at this time.

Dan, congratulations on your N10 purchase. It does match perfect with your K-03. Looking forward to your review. Looking at it makes me want one also.

I can't imagine that the Olive would be in the same ballpark as the Aurender but the Esoteric will be an interesting comparison.

Buck.......Once I have the break-in behind me I will definitely compare the Esoteric K-03 transport playback to the Aurender N10 playback. With just 12 hours on it I can already tell the Sony Vaio laptop with the Wyred 4 Sound Recovery is not in the same league, nor is the Olive 04HD. I expect the Aurender N10 will only get better from here.

Nice Dan! Are those Stillpoint Minis under your K03? I was wondering for myself if they would be strong enough to hold up such a unit at 60 lbs.

Tony.......Yes, those are the Stillpoints Ultra Mini's. There are four under the K-03. I questioned their weight capacity when I first received them, and if memory serves me right I believe each one can support 35 lbs, so four Ultra Mini's should have no issue supporting the 92 lbs. total of the K-03 (62 lbs.) and the N10 (27 lbs).

The k03 only has 3 feet though. Are they not threaded in?

Congrats Dan, looks great! Really looking forward to hearing a review. I'm fascinated by how digital products can sound different.
