Magnolia...I was at the design center today and I asked the sales guy about the CM prices for open box and he said all were around half off, yes all the open box CM10s are gone company wide and according to new policy the stores are unable to ship open box speakers to another store. The store near me only had CM6S2 open box and they were $1029 for the pair.

Looks like your pictures were removed....

Hi joey,

The bass drivers are similar to the aerofoil technolgy. It is a very stiff sandwich contruction made with paper and polystyreen. I guess it will be a cheaper version compaired to the d3. I'm curious,to hear them. I have the 803d3 at home and the CM8 at my second home and the difference is huge. I might replace the CM8 with these new 700 series.
