I'm biased but a properly restored Garrard 301 in a beautifully done plinth just does it for me

Simple elegance.

Looks like a VPI platter with an HRX motor in a custom plinth and SME, Graham Phantom and DaVinvi (?) tonearms. I seem to recall PBN making a few custom jobs from a VPI table that look similar to this, so maybe this is one of them.

I see that VPI is now selling parts for the do-it-yourselfers. I wish more 'table mfrs would do this.
