It's an impressive speaker and design for sure.

I just don't know what to make of the "ears"... but I'm sure it's pretty IRL.

The trickled down effect will interesting to watch. I guess we know what form function the Alexandria replacement will look like now.

Seems like the Alexx is the one to have. It's half the price of the XLF and has all the trickle down like you mentioned. And I've heard it...it's freaking awesome

But it's still in a price range that few can ever achieve (I doubt I will be able to)

I meant design wise such as the exploded aluminum frame.

Nothing but respect for Dave Wilson, but the man has got to get new drapes. I didn't know there was a pic of him standing next to the original WAMM with the same damn drapes there. Time for an upgrade.

I think there will be at least one new model between Alexx and WAMM (i.e. successor of XLF and hopefully the price is around US$250k to US$300k).

Sadly, I have a feeling that the price of this model maybe more than .....
