And Three Seat Options

GT2 – A middle-ground seat added to the Corvette lineup because too many customers were checking every box and getting Competition Sport racing seats as a result—those seats are great for track days but not so much for daily driving. The GT2 includes carbon-fiber trim, Nappa leather inserts, Mulan leather bolsters, a jet black painted seatback, two-way lumbar support and bolster adjustment, and heating and ventilation.

Competition Sport – For the serious, track-focused driver only, these have aggressive bolsters, full Nappa leather seating surfaces and carbon-fiber trim on the headrest. They have heating and ventilation, and a new Kevlar-vest-inspired durable performance textile, as well.

From most perspectives I think the car looks pretty good. I am afraid that it is going to look like crap when they start finding ways to attach carbon fiber tidbits here and there. Like on the C7 it will over accentuate the lines of the vehicle.

Way too much going on at the ass-end of the car. I was hoping they would bring back the round tail lights.

It's amazing that they were able to introduce this car at a very reasonable price point. I was telling my wife about the car today and she just rolled her eyes and said " you aren't thinking about going back to a Corvette now are you?"

It's a very cool looking car and I'm sure it will have great appeal but I'll keep my 911.

Looks like someone sat on the rear end of a Camaro.

I like it, not as much as a 911 but definitely appealing and good price for what it appears you get. Devil may be in the details though.

It goes 0-60 in under 3 seconds.

I don’t think you’d see the rear end for very long.

I think it’s amazing.

I’ve never been a corvette guy, but this is one I could see driving.

I tip my hat off to the development team on this one. Game-changer. Where the rest of the planet is using forced induction, they’ve figured out how to keep the naturally aspirated V8 alive.

And all for under $60k—-

Well done I say.

Default 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Design Analysis: “I’m Sorry, but I’m Disappointed”

The new Corvette is aiming to a younger generation not the boomers. GM had to do what it did with the Cadillac a few years back: make the brand more youthful. The sales of the Corvette have been sliding pretty badly. The old folks already bought their last Corvette. The younger generation is the one that GM wants (needs) to appeal to, not old folks like me. That said, from the pictures so far I like what they have done. In person it might be even better.
