Default The swami predicts a new member!!

I know, I know, pics or ban , but we will soon have a outstanding new member to our small, yet privileged group. I look forward to his view on his new Burmester instruments. Moreover, I have been agonizing these past few weeks over keeping my 089 and acquiring a 088 with a Naim DAC and UnityServe instead. The 088 is a better preamp, but the 089 has one of the world's best transport, and it belt drive no less. In fact, Burmester invented the belt drive transport. Ever since I bought my new MacBook Pro, I am enamored with computer audio and streaming. However, at this point in time, I have not found any form of hardware that can compete with a Burmester CDP.

Wow... I read Bill's post and the only thing that came to mind was Mike Myers in an old SNL skit called Sprockets. I must be losing it today.

Sprockets

Well, we know Joe is getting the best amp on the planet, in the 911 MK3, and that is not just my opinion. But, I am curious to read a Joe's comments on the awesome new 077. It is Burmester's new attack on the SOTA preamps, with the new X-Amp2 modules.
