I can't believe how good the 911 MK3 is.The added transparency and hearing more into the recording is astounding. And my previous amp was no slouch, in the Hegel H10. But the 911 is in another league. I can't really say more than what Tone has reported. But, I can report the personal and emotional impact it has had on me. Whether it is through the state-of-the-art 089 belt drive CDP, or my LG 590 blu-ray player using the 089 DAC's, or even using my MacBook Pro with mini toslink ( I am still researching USB vs firewire), I get goosebumps almost every time I turn on my system now. I was thinking of getting one of the new Velodyne DD+'s, but now there is no way I need a sub with my Ventures. Well, back to a CD.

Glad you are enjoying it! I got goosebumps the first time I heard Burmester and I still enjoy my 911 that much.

You mean the twins? ..I can hear female singers part their lips as if they are getting ready to lay one on me.

Edit: every time I hear clapping now, I stand up and say, "Thank-you, thank-you, very much

Pic's or ban!

Jeff: in your upcoming review on he 089/088, I hope you will be putting them up against your Naim CD555/PS55. I predict a clear winner (drum roll please!)
